Vorarlberg
In Vorarlberg there are many opportunities to experience moments of happiness: between Lake Constance in the north and the mountains of Arlberg, Silvretta and Rätikon in the south.
For example, at the sight of surprisingly modern architecture and delicate craftsmanship. At first-class festivals such as the Bregenz Festival or the Schubertiade. On hikes through the landscape installation Horizon Field, created by the famous British artist Antony Gormley in the mountains of Vorarlberg. Or in the many restaurants and cafés known for their creative yet traditional cuisine.
With many years of experience and always up to date. New on offer are courses for freeriders. With its ideal topographical conditions, Vorarlberg is a TOP ski region. Around two thirds of Vorarlberg is over 1,000 meters high. Valleys and mountain ranges divide the country into compact and manageable areas. Many places reach altitudes of 1,400 to 2,400 meters and thus ensure guaranteed snow. The landscape is impressively imposing and there are both groomed and ungroomed pistes for those who prefer to ski in open terrain.
