The small village of Stanz lies around 200 meters above Landeck at the foot of the Lechtal Alps on a low mountain terrace.
The Stanzer Zwetschken plums are well known, as the numerous hours of sunshine here provide favorable conditions for their cultivation. Stanz is known as a place of schnapps distillers.

The accommodation is a 15-minute walk from the beautiful Schrofenstein Castle. There is a hiking and cycling trail directly in front of our house.

Our location is the central starting point for various excursions in the surrounding area.
The nearest skiing and hiking area is the Venet pleasure mountain in Zams, which can be reached in 10 minutes by car.
Other ski and hiking resorts such as Fendels, Ladis-Fiss-Serfaus, St. Anton and Ischgl are approx. 30 minutes' drive from the accommodation.
